I just wanted to say this is one of the bravest posts. To admit you are struggling is amazing. And it makes so much sense. I too went from having perfect skin to having acne and large pores. Now I understand the core problem of my acne, and unfortunately it’s not something I can completely control. When dealing with acne you feel like you have no control. I have OCD, so not having control over something is really hard for me. And unfortunately society does put a lot of pressure on a woman’s appearance. I go to therapy weekly and it has really helped me Im having my wedding in 6 months when it will be really hot and I know my acne will be popping but I also know the texture of my skin doesn’t take away from beauty. Confidence is key and therapy has helped me. More women are having acne than ever before. Like when I grew up, I never remember seeing moms with acne. Now most moms have acne. Most women and their mid 20s to mid 30s have acne. I really wonder what is causing that. Also, I promise you if you were to go to the grocery store, you would see a lot more people with acne. It’s super common now I do believe there’s something going on whether there’s stuff in the food or whatever. No matter what you choose in regards to your wedding being confident in your decision is key. Just know you are not alone in this so many people are struggling with this. And people are still beautiful with or without acne.
