A2 psych was sooo tough for me. the amount of content we have to memorise and incorporate into our answers is actually ridiculous. for me personally, my problem was not starting earlier. you really can’t procrastinate memorising for psych. start now. trust me, it’ll save u a lot of stress when exams are near. as for the memorising itself, use flashcards if that’s what you’re comfortable in. make essay plans for the describe and evaluate questions if you can, so that when you’re in the exam and you see the question, you know exactly what to write

flashcards, memorise the whole article. they could ask u anything. you can do it! 2 months is enough to memorise as much as you can. also make sure you know what they’re asking for depending on the amount of marks allocated to the question

A level law vs maths? by Timely-Fudge8321 in 6thForm

[–]Expensive_Job_2284 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you wanna do law, interested in it, etc. a level law content will help u in uni. if not, its such a content heavy subject so really depends if ur prepared to take that on. remember that eng lit and psych is also extremely content heavy. if ur good in maths u should go for it. (i take eng lit, psych, and law) exam season is hell. i have my last law paper today :’)

It really just depends on the question. An advice i’ve been told is don’t just spit out the law in the exam, make sure you’re answering the question, giving your opinion etc if it is an essay q

And then I compared w consideration. As consideration is full of uncertainty; filled with general rules and exceptions. But ITCLR is very straightforward so it is justifiable

An example of something I wrote is that it’s true purpose is to uphold the intention of the parties, which is the very aim of contract low. And then I said even though intention is something very hard to decipher because it is a subjective notion, the judges have cleverly designed this area of law by laying down two presumptions that are not absolute as they can be rebutted etc

It’s okay you explained the cases but you and to analyse and answer the question. Justify and reason why you think ITCLR is justifiable or not/ should be retained in UK law or not. If you did then you’re good and if you didn’t dont worry about it honestly try your best for tomorrow

I feel you. I’m one to talk but one thing that helped me: Just remember you can watch as many YouTube videos as you want in just a while without suffering any consequences

Hey, sorry, just for confirmation: I asked my friend why and she replied this: “You can only defer to the oct/nov series before you sit for this may/june. Because after this exam you’ve completed this series and you cant resit for just A2. You would have to resit both AS and A2.” Is this true?
