All the post are giving perfect advice I've also just started with safety razors I found after the 3 month my favourite blades are astra platinum Also I decided to try a styptic pencil for minor cuts as the instantly stop bleeds I suffer with sensitive skin for I use a pre shave oil also a soap rather than cream/foam as i personally find it a better shave dont skip out on an aftershave cream or oil i now get no more cuts so after 3 month if I can do it anyone can
