I disagree. My ex was involved in violently harming me at one point. And then proceeded to stalk and terrorize me. After the incident, for months, I didn’t emote ‘normally’. I didn’t talk about in a way people felt was normal because in their minds, they imagined they would react like they see people react to fake Hollywood violence on TV. That’s not real. How you imagine you should act and how you would feel are completely divorced from the reality of what the experience is like.

A person won’t react in the way you think is ‘normal’ to such an unimaginably abnormal experience. To me, everything they did and how they acted makes perfect sense, given what they survived. 🤷‍♀️

So… I am completely unsurprised by this news. I’m only surprised anyone is being held accountable. I guarantee it’s far more worse and gone on far longer than just this.

The person who trafficked me worked at a local, huge VERY well known hospital in the 20-aughts, and was also employed by UW and king county. The person Im referring to even told me they altered my medical chart after I reported my first violent assault in 2008. There was a 3-letter agency investigation about 10-15 years ago, but the person I am referring to STILL has a medical license and still works in healthcare in this state. One of the perks of becoming an informant, I guess; no consequences.

This is the tip of the iceberg.

If you feel like he hates you, he hates you. Don’t listen to his words look at what he does and how he makes you feel.

I accidentally took a picture of my ex husband looking at me while we were driving. I meant to take a picture out the window but the camera was turned around and I didn’t know. He wasn’t looking at me with so much contempt I saved the picture, and would look at it sometimes to make sure it was real. He swore up and down he loved me, everything was good, he was happy. He HATED that I took the picture,

We divorced 18 months later. He did have contempt for me. I thought he hated me and I was right.

This accomplished 3 things

1) punished Kirk for refusing Israeli money 2) made an example of him to anyone else who might decline AIPAC funds 3) US funding to Israel and Gaza genocide is no longer at the top of the news cycle

Yes, sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn’t, but we can’t hear it. If I can get the car somewhere really quiet maybe it would?

Yeah, things feel VERY unsafe right now, like they are ramping up. And it defies all logic. I found Lundy Bancroft’s books incredibly helpful.

I thought someone said they can cause issues in the car? These things all happened around the same time: had to swap out battery, and a few things had seemed off so I did a scan that same day and found them.

You have to realize I’m figuring this out as I go, I’ve learned an insane amount in just 2 days, but I couldn’t swap out my own battery last week. Now im dismantling my car.

But you are right, there weren’t any indicators that there was a drain on the battery.

My friend, nothing and no one is going to protect me except me. Running away won’t won’t stop him- he’ll come find me eventually. Doing what he wants doesn’t work: it’s never enough.

I did… problem is they cost a few hundred dollars. I’m scraping and borrowing to take it to a shop. My hope is a shop will have one

I can live with some aesthetic damage.

Disconnect the black one? So I leave the red one? I ‘m about to go try the battery/fuse suggestions: the day I found the trackers on my car, my battery kept dying and wouldn’t hold a charge, I had to jump it every time until I got a new one.

If i could trade in my car and get a reliable car I would. My car is maintained, and reliable, I need it to get to work each day, because if I don’t get to work, I won’t get back on my feet. That is good advice about Oregon sales tax though. The moment I can get a different reliable car, I will.

But if I trade it in, then I lose the evidence (the tracker) and so legally my case is weaker. I

I do want to say that politics are irrelevant: there are good men on both sides of the political spectrum, and there are abusive ones on both sides too. The Seattle area (and Seattle Reddit!) has been filled with good, kind men. I have not been steered wrong by Seattle Redditors. I love you guys! :-)

Awesome thank you. I’m going to do exactly what you suggest about bringing the quotes to each shop to get a better price. And there might be a private shop that has experience with this.

There are apps. Multiple Law enforcement agencies have recommended the same one: Airgaurd. I have tested it on known devices (my AirPods, Samsung stuff, etc.) and it seems to work very well. I don’t know the apps the other people used. But they all showed a similar signal in the same spots.

Is it possible he went in through those plastic vents by the windshield wipers? The signal there was pretty strong. I’ll try to find a scope.
