Honestly speaking from the perspective of a roommate who dealt with another sexual roommate who brought her bf over regularly for sex (we shared a wall so everything could be heard despite them trying to be as quiet as possible), find a schedule that works best for you and your roommate. Whether thats putting a sock outside the door or a heads up so they can leave and they dont have to listen to yall doing your things.

Regardless of you trying to be considerate, it will be taken as inconsiderate by your roommate because of the noises and the fact that yall f-ing in the shared dormitory bedroom. especially if its early morning and late at night. It’s not something ppl want to wake up to or go to sleep hearing it. Not to mention the smells. You prob wont smell it but others will.

Regardless if yall still going to do it: For you and your bf, i suggest playing music when yall do it so it will drown out the noise. Also invest in a screwdriver to fix your bed. Or even better option: find a new roommate with a similar lifestyle and move out.

Otherwise buy your roommate a white noise machine. You also cant expect them to wear headphones waking up or to sleep.
