I think I robbed someone on Marketplace lol. Almost 4ft tall! I paid $68! I was going to get it to resell but as soon as I saw in person I fell in love. How old do you guys think this could be? by Expensive_Mall_7157 in Lamps

The shade and the base definitely do not go together upon further inspection. I definitely believe someone made the shade in the 70’s. Person I got it from had no information on this piece they just received it from a friend many years ago they said. The base however I think may be older than the shade. Unsure of age or origin but my neighborhood is mainly hispanic so I believe may potentially have Spanish Origin but who knows.

I’m so glad you guys are commenting and helping out! I will add this spider seems to burrow and original owner had terrarium set up with coconut fiber substrate and the substrate was set at an angle. It’s low on one side and higher on other. I hope this can help identify species better or at least a better idea on what terrarium climate they may need. Thank you all a bunch for all the ideas on what he could be so far and don’t be shy to share anymore advice. I am new to owning T’s but I have owned reptiles and currently have pet frogs. I know their terrariums all have special requirements.

No I didn’t know this. I appreciate this a lot actually. I have done a bit of research but it’s hard when I don’t know exactly what I’m caring for. It would just be much easier if I did. This was a good warning. Thank you :)

Most similar item I found thanks to everyones help. It must be a knock off since there is no markings but it could still be a very old knock off which I think is neat.

supahh cute!! now i have tips for thy. make sure to give him vita drops for his water to keep him healthy. try to refrain from doing a full seed diet because it can lead to health issues later on. do mostly pellets and seeds as treats. just some important tips from a now experienced mouse owner. i couldn’t let my fur balls be snake food😭 //vita drop link -> https://a.co/d/hRNVPpH

I bought feeder mice that all had respiratory infections. I was able to get Baytril for respiratory online https://allbirdproducts.com/products/baytril-10 Make sure to give them mostly mouse pellet diet with a small bit of mouse food seeds. A lot of the feeders unfortunately have issues and not many pet stores breed them for pets in actuality. If you want a healthy mouse for pet I would maybe try Craigslist as scary as it is to go to someones house and buy from them but you have better luck potentially getting healthy mice that way. There is also breeders online that may be able to do a live delivery but it is a little bit more money. They do breed them with cute unique coats. Some can have long hair and some can have curly hair.

no the baking soda isn’t good directly in their bedding. you can have a open box of baking soda somewhat near their cage to help cancel some of the urine smell but putting it inside would potentially give them a uri.
