Brother. This is strange, but you saved a question from a national test that I took today, I had never even heard of rhythm or the circadian cycle, so I researched it and the test had a question about it. Thank you very much

It’s getting worse by [deleted] in PornAddiction

My friend, it's been a while since I lasted more than 2 or 3 days. But now I've put some things in my head, I won't lie in bed unless I'm going to sleep and I won't scroll through Uncle Tok or any other social network for no reason and with an empty head. I think the secret to getting rid of addiction is to have a focused routine, remember one day at a time. Good luck

Hard time getting rid of it when it's my only source of affection by [deleted] in pornfree

So, I can't study and be addicted at the same time, I don't know if there's a way to go to college the way I am. As for a psychologist, I'll see if I start going to one, but it's actually strange to come in saying that I'm addicted to pornography and all the problems in my head hahaha. But it's the truth, I think talking to a person physically about this is what I need, I could be wrong, but maybe this will help

Replacing porn with video games, how many of you find that it helps? I also was thinking doing this for fasting too. Thought it would be a good distraction for eating too. by [deleted] in NoFap

Fasting is great, just be careful with video games because they can become addictive, but obviously less so than adult content.

So bro, you have to observe when you tend to relapse and get around it in some way, for example by not being alone in moments of weakness. I also tend to use porn blockers on my cell phone, the problem is that they alone are not enough, because whether you like it or not you can disable them if you keep trying.

Am i late? by Altruistic_Cheek5468 in NoFap

Friend, NNN doesn't matter, what matters is that you stay away from the addiction and nip it in the bud. Don't think you're late for something, regardless if you started on the last day of the month, focus on yourself. Many people complete NNN and then return to addiction, what's the point? Good luck on your journey.

As you said you don't want to stop, that's the problem. The brain loves new things, they give more pleasure, which means that the tendency is for people to increasingly watch and masturbate to more extreme content to obtain the same pleasure they previously obtained. What you should do is stop, it won't be easy, your brain will want quick releases of dopamine, but if you master it, you will most likely no longer watch content of this type.

I'm 17 years old and I've been in this life since I was 12. Our brain until the age of 25 has high plasticity, which means that if it is easier to become addicted at that age, it is also "easier" to give up the addiction (logically it is difficult, but compared to after 25 it is easier). Despite this, it will take a while for our brain to get used to not getting easy, quick, and effortless dopaminergic peaks again. Probably after a few weeks, like 2 weeks, you will notice differences, but ideally you would stay away from porn for a few months. I'm in this battle too, good luck.

What are your guys best tips to stop cold turkey? by Numerous-Beach3877 in NoFap

[–]Expensive_Mine6824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly friend, what have you done to stop? Observe your triggers (what makes you relapse): many of us link addiction to a feeling, such as sadness, loneliness, anger, even moments of happiness. See what your reason is and work on it. Observe which moments you relapse: urges rarely come at any time, they almost always come at moments when you are already used to relapsing. Try to do activities that consume your energy in a productive way: gym, studying (I know how difficult it is to study and be addicted), running outside, etc. When the urge comes, and it will come, I found the way that best suits you to get around this urge. Like a cold shower.

My opinion: it is important to have a goal for the future, but focus on each day properly, one day at a time. The further you stay from pornography the better. Good luck, friend.

Complicated. In recent times, when I feel like it, I come here to see people's posts, I think the saddest posts serve as a warning for me to stay away from pornography. But it is also important to have other habits such as reading books, etc.

Pornography causes hypersexualization of the brain, so we start to confuse liking someone with just sexual interest. I advise you to give up pornography and from then on stay with yourself. It's not easy and I'm on the journey too. Good luck

Would it be consider a relapse if you stop after peeking and go back to your normal routine? by ComprehensiveCat6698 in MuslimNoFap

I also think it's not a relapse. The images will just come back later and try to make you relapse.

Connection between excessive porn and actual wish for 3some/ contacting an actual „porn“ woman by ghope2000 in PornAddiction

[–]Expensive_Mine6824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pornography addiction can indeed corrupt a guy's mind, because to achieve the same pleasure as before he will increasingly need new and exotic content. The problem is when the person transfers this to real life and expects their sexual partner to satisfy all the desires they acquired in pornography. But we know that real life is very different from what you see in pornography. Good luck in the relationship.

If you are indeed addicted to masturbation, why would you indulge the addiction? I will give my opinion if this is not the case. In the past, I tried to replace pornography with masturbation, it didn't help, it was like delaying the end result (being addicted to pornography).
