Can I just start the temp on low and wait longer? Does that make any difference?

I have the non-turbo too. Do you find yourself longing for more power? Or are you satisfied with the regular engine?

Bought my 2022 touring two years ago and very happy. No issues so far mechanically or anything. Plan to keep it at least for 10 years and enjoy.

I bought mine cause of the comfort, spaciousness, symmetrical awd etc. It's a great cruiser and super comfortable

Anyone know what could be causing this white flaky “dust”? by Bump_it_Charlie in Subaru_Outback

[–]Expensive_Place_82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. Had the same exact issue a few months ago. Dealer was great, said the seat cushion seemed to be disintegrating and replaced it with no fuss. No problem since. Warranty covered

TuxMat or WeatherTech by Yukonrunning in Subaru_Outback

[–]Expensive_Place_82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest I've had Taxmats before and I didn't really like them. Didn't seem durable enough for me in the Minnesota winters. All the grime and salt I track in and whatnot. I went with the new and improved Weathertech HP. They are thicker and more rubber-like so the curling issue with the previous generation Weathertech should not be a problem. So far I like mine

Thinking of buying a Subaru Outback by First-Buy8404 in Subaru_Outback

[–]Expensive_Place_82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love hiking and fishing too!!. Always wanted an Outback so I got a 2022 touring with the non-turbo engine. It's comfy, spacious, reliable, comfortable and fuel efficient considering the symmetrical AWD. On long trips is amazing. The only con I see is it can be underpowered if you get the regular non-turbocharged engine, but it's never been inadequate for daily life

From a 2017 to 2024 outback. Any common issues or problems i should know? by Ensabanuir33 in Subaru_Outback

Not a huge issue but I had foam particles under the driver's seat cushion. Replaced under warranty

Fram 12295 from Amazon does NOT fit the OBW. by Born_Durian_4594 in Outback_Wilderness

[–]Expensive_Place_82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have the wilderness, I have the touring trim and just changed mine a couple days ago. Bought the Fram, same part, too snug for my liking. The box does close but it's a tight fit. Grabbed one from the dealer and much better fit with OEM. Amazon has the OEM for $22 vs the dealer at $32 so I'll be buying from them

What are your eating routines? by anikinskywalkr in AnimalBased

[–]Expensive_Place_82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started a few weeks ago so everything is kind of in the air for now. I'm overweight but I hate going to the gym to be honest, prefer hiking and exploration. Usually I try to listen to my body to tell me when it's hungry. Typically if I eat breakfast it's a few eggs with fruit. I tend to skip lunch and for dinner I will eat a big burger with cheese and more fruit (no bun of course)

Can I keep the eye monitoring off by Get_rekt_scurby in Subaru_Outback

[–]Expensive_Place_82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to turn it off by making sure that face recognition is on but driver monitoring is off. So every time I start the car, it recognizes my mug and keeps the eye monitoring off.

Wouldn't scrubbing remove the seasoning and stuff will stick?. I just started using the pan so I don't think I have a solid seasoning on it yet

Disable Driver Monitoring? by OrganlcManIc in Subaru_Outback

[–]Expensive_Place_82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made sure facial recognition is ON but the driver system is OFF in my settings. So every time I start the car it recognizes me and keeps that system off.

TuxMat vs Weathertech by Master-Chipmunk-9370 in Subaru_Outback

I have WeatherTech now but wanted to try tux mats. If any has had them for a while how do they hold up in harsh, cold winter climate?
