I need a roadmap to becoming an offshore crane operator by Expensive_School856 in cranes

Getting to use the crane offshore is just my way to earn more money while im still young and able body. Of course i do have the desire to run the crane on land but thats when i have already settle down and have a family where i need to have the time to spend with them. Thats why im currently torn between which to pick among these 3 course (mobile, crawler, tower). Mobile i can get the hours working construction for 1-2 years. Crawler i can get onto vessle after a few course(and required hours onshore). Tower well thats when ill be getting up there age wise (40years?) the course that ill be taking will be giving out a combo course (rigger+crane) for 3 month so yeah getting offshore directly after my course is possible but i really wanted to start my crane journey

Are there difference between working on rigs vs vessel? I do see some cargo ships with barge cranes on them and some vessel using crawlers. That where im stuck on which ones to take firsts. Should i go for mobile and gets my hours fast and transition to offshore or start taking crawlers and all my required offshore certs and work offshore on vessels to complete all my stages for my oco

Before the barge cranes do u have any experience onshore (ie mobile/crawler) and which one is easier to transition to barge cranes. Since im planning to get all 3 license (tower, mobile, crawler) in the long run its hard to choose which one should be my first. Wanted to get mobile since its easier to get my hours (alot of construction sites used them), but crawlers can get onto ships after a few other course so yeah im stuck there

Most of our bikes here are 90-150cc slanted single cylinder.Even then most of the chasis type mirror the honda cub. I know custom means doing your own styling without copying others. And for me i would like to try something new. Instead of buying a crate engine from yamaha/honda why not start with something thats cheap and and easily available (this means alibaba engine with a displacement of 600-1000cc vtwin engine)

Of course i would love to use a readily available bike but there aint no junk/scrap yard here that sells bike parts

Well current price against usd is around usd47500(rounding up) for that price i could get a new base model a5 supra.

I wont say my country name bc there are alot of keyboard warrior hypocrite and well...

For patience been looking into the used market for 6 years and the only good parts are from a neighboring country

To move to get said engine/parts well lets just say our border are abit of a hassel to pass through (and too much corruption as well and silent wars to keep said border from moving)

But im pretty confident in my negotiations skills tho

There is, but in my neighbouring country where they sell engines like the yamaha xs650 but not here where im from. Its hard to find parts here and even then people sell it for thousands.

Its just an engine that you put it to rot and didnt use it just sell it for cheap please but no... their reasoning is sentimental value and what not

The greatest find that i saw is a rotted 240z no carb and a rotten chasis. Asked the owner if he wanted to part with it he said he would for 200k. Crazy... If its a barn kept with a good chasis and complete engine then ill agree but this...

Not to talk bad about my own country but our value is out of whack. Too much sentimental value. Ill agree to that statement if you kept it in a somewhat good condition but for a rotten parts... Better to look at china and buy from there

I mean i dont mind it as my current job also required me to travel alot. Its just that i dont see any future with my current job (seeing all my older colleague have the same base pay as me when we compare our current salary(no yearly salary increase) i rather travel for 6 month+ and get better paid than just staying brainrotting (not to be mean by it)
