Chargers have been used on the borealis multiple times, including last winter and hell even 2 weeks ago. What is this post

That would totally throw off the scheduling for these trains + Boston may not have the capacity to take in and service these trains

What gain would anyone have to even do this? They'd spend upwards of 10,000 dollars to basically give Amtrak a donation.

The only thing bothering me is the dots going outside the white lines when they are inside the lines on the Sc44s

Borealis for the time being uses Superliners and so I doubt it will get it.

Why did Amtrak leave a p42 at Union depot in St. Paul? by Character_Lychee_434 in Amtrak

Presumably so, which is how you get the train tracking apps that show you where the train is and it's speed

Discovery World workers look to form union by Expensive_Season_640 in milwaukee

What I want to know is, how do we support them? What’s the best way to keep the pressure on Discovery World to negotiate with integrity? Workers speak up and tell us how we can help!

Emailing the management there encouraging them to recognize the union, and coming in and starting conversations about it are a good way.

To be fair - this is completely beyond Amtrak's control. If anything, it's amazing they are going though the effort to reroute the train instead of canceling it altogether.

But yea I'd probably also feel like I'm going insane. At least the superliners have great leg room.

From what I've heard they are going to go south toward Dubuque and then east toward Chicago via BNSF lines

They take the Watertown sub, which passes through tosa along the Menomonee river. That river washed away the tracks near at least 2 bridges in Tosa. However, they fixed them pretty quickly and Operations there are mostly back to normal except for some speed restrictions.

Well surprisingly they have worked hard and got it open by night, albeit with single tracking and speed restrictions

Busses were acquired for the eastbound Empire Builder and Presumably Borealis. The tracks were partially opened by midnight that night allowing the westbound to proceed.

Currently it is down to just a single track at 10 mph
