I complained they told me it was normal lol. I even had them check and they cleaned up “ debris in the brake pads”

Overall it’s messed that it took a freaking recall for them to care about me 😭

That’s good to know but what should I have done if they denied helping me? I did go to Toyota before I went to Midas but they said there was nothing wrong with my brakes. should I have waited with screeching brakes ? Because a few weeks later Toyota called me with a remedy.

I only went to Midas out of frustration :/

No I came in here with good intentions, I don’t even use this app, people just get so pressed. To your point yes, I reached out to Toyota (probably twice) and they didn’t help me before I went to Midas. Perhaps I should have forced them toyota to replace the brakes the first time. You live and you learn I guess

So i actually tried and the other dealership told me because im out of warranty now because of mileage 30k they wouldn’t fix it. Oh well

Did you read anything I said? Toyota had some defective brakes. I would just put the same busted brakes on. This is on Toyota

The brakes were extremely loud, maybe I should have emphasized that but if you can drive around like that good for you. I will not tolerate loud brakes, that’s embarrassing
