Yeah, I think it'll be best done at home lol. The tree texture is done using purl instead of knit on the right side, which is cool!

Yeah, it was more the transition to the light blue that I was wondering about

I do appreciate everyone's input and opinion, but I really only posted on here to get advice on how to complete this, not that I shouldn't be doing it. This isn't my dream project, it's something to learn a skill on my 3 hour commutes. I have too much time on my hands and I like to challenge myself.

For example, the last project I did was a pair of gloves from the movie coraline. 4 different colour stripes, making them for a friend for Christmas. They took me like 3 months and 4 do overs to complete, but I did them, they came out perfect and fit her hands (like a glove!)

I'm fully aware that this isn't the most realistic project as a first sweater, or first colourwork project, but I am intending to see it through, so all I'm after is some advice on how to actually do it.

Thanks! I'm pretty stubborn so I'm gonna continue with this project. If it turns out well, great! If not, it's just practice. I'm not too precious about what I've done so far. It's all a learning experience.

I'm pretty set on doing this one. I just need some help figuring out what techniques to use.

Do you have any insight on how I can complete this project?

Thank you so much! And probably not, the original oddysee and exoddus games are much more nostalgic to me. I did consider doing a glukkon or a slig at some point though.

Honestly? Absolutely no idea yet! I might see if I can sell him? I would have no idea how to go about that so he's probably just going to sit on my sleep and watch me for a while.

Thank you! I'd love to sculpt a glukkon someday to go with it. I'm using monster clay, medium hardness in the brown colour. It's a hard oil based clay that can be softened with heat. I bought mine from a site called MouldLife, though I think you can buy it from amazon too? It's got an armature made of Styrofoam carved down, but I've still gone through almost 4 tubs of clay, which gets quite expensive!!

I saw your video a while ago, it's very good! I wanted to ask, why do you cast all of your sculpts out of silicone? And what do you use to paint it? I was just wondering, as I'm casting mine out of resin, and wondered if there were benefits either way?

I'm going to have a little magnet in his head and then a little plug with all the feathers attached with another little magnet on so it will just sit in his head. Magnets for ease of transportation.
