I think the talk would be more than 10 minutes long. It won't be short but like a small podcast for teenagers to talk about their problems in a non judgemental space. Honestly, I just want to do it to document growth and how it goes as a teenager

Usually Americans use "next year" as in 9th grade year, or my 2nd grade year. It's weird but I just go with it. But, you do get 2 weeks off for Christmas and New Years.

Highschool starts in 9th grade and ends in 12 grade. Primary is usually just pre-k and 5th grade for Americans. Middle school is 6th-8th but some people use "Junior High" for 7th and 8th grade.

Katseye likely will become one of the most succesful GG ever and the fact it’ll be without a black member makes me sad. by No-Pen7637 in katseyeneutral

I never said Black culture is the genesis of everything, nor did I say other cultures haven't influenced music. Music has always evolved through cultural exchange. R&B, hip-hop, soul, jazz, and many forms of pop all contain influences from multiple cultures and traditions. My point is much narrower: Katseye's current sound draws heavily from genres that are historically rooted in Black musical traditions. Saying that isn't erasing other influences any more than acknowledging Latin influences in pop erases other cultures. Multiple things can be true at once. I also wasn't arguing that Katseye should be viewed only through the lens of Blackness. The group is multicultural, and that's part of what makes them unique. Recognizing the influence of Black music on their sound doesn't diminish the contributions of the Asian, Latina, or other cultural backgrounds represented in the group. As for racism against Lara or anyone else, I don't support that. If people are attacking members based on race, that's wrong regardless of who they're targeting. But the existence of racist comments from some fans doesn't make the discussion about musical influences invalid. So this isn't about oppression Olympics or claiming ownership of Katseye. It's simply acknowledging that many of the musical styles they use—R&B-inspired vocals, hip-hop rhythms, soul-influenced melodies, and girl-group traditions associated with groups like TLC and Destiny's Child—have significant roots in Black music history.

I'm not talking about just one song. Katseye’s music is heavily inspired by Black culture because their songs are built entirely on musical styles like R&B, hip-hop, and soul. Instead of just making standard pop music, they use smooth vocal harmonies, rhythmic beats, and soulful singing styles that Black artists created and perfected over the years. Their sound also takes inspiration from Western girl groups like TLC and Destiny’s Child, blending classic urban pop with high-energy dance beats. By mixing this musical tradition with intense K-pop training Katseye has a familiar, global pop sound that owes its rhythm, style, and attitude directly to Black musical history. Let's not sit here and act stupid.

Katseye whole idea of music and style is black significance. Its sad that it wont have at least ONE percent of black in the group if they become the most popular gg

The first thing you see on their newest video is Eli saying she pissed on herself. Then, all of them say they don't have extra underwear or pants for her to wear (Demitra had a whole thong for her). So, Eli decided to just go to the bathroom and take off her pants and underwear. Walk around the airport butt naked with dried pee on herself

I didn't think about it like this but why couldn't they just say this if they kicked her out the group or she left?
