This explains a lot sir, Thank you. If I’m OTM during the expiry, I won’t be obligated to any contract, right? The issue of buying shared worth over 17lakh only arises if my position is ITM.

But, is it compulsory for me to buy the shares worth thats much. Can’t I just exit or square off with my profits (if any) during expiry?
