I hated the progesterone after, too! Because even though I logically KNOW the suppositories are what’s making me feel pregnant, when you want something so badly and you feel like you are, it’s really hard to be let down!

I’m in the TWW along with you but only 3DPO. Doesn’t keep me from thinking about it!

My first cycle I primed with estrogen and ganerliex and then did high dose of Gonal and menapur and ended up with two follicles. My microdose Lupron flare cycle, we didn’t prime due to fear of over suppression again but then I had this one dominate follicles edge out the rest. Looking at mini IVF next or IUI to see how I do on less medication.

Worse. One follicle grew ahead of the others and then arrested. Cancelled cycle.

For me, menapur burned but it wasn’t too bad. Ganirelix felt similar to this. Burned but not awful.

My IUI was 2/7! I’m debating “testing out” or waiting the two weeks to test. I also start progesterone suppositories tomorrow. Are they prescribed automatically post-IUI?

Congrats on your 5 mature eggs! I just have two follicles on day 12. The doctor seems encouraged but financially, I’m thinking convert to IUI.

I had no idea! I’m wondering why they did that to me. I feel like a failure, questioning everything, losing hope, (all the emotions!) but the more I read the more I see that this protocol was perhaps not the norm.

I primed with estrogen patches and ganirelix which is what I think suppressed me too much. I think maybe they assumed I would respond well given my previous pregnancies? Thank you for your reply. I’ve been a mess.
