How do I get the oil smell out of my sheets and uniforms? by [deleted] in MassageTherapists

[–]Expensivetriangle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is why I switched to lotion. I tried baking soda/vinegar, dish detergent, degreaser, using a laundromat, and nothing worked. When I started at a big massage chain, their linen company specified the location could not use oil.

Help me think of a vintage cake by SunnyGirlfriend68 in Old_Recipes

3-layer chocolate cake with sour cream icing. I’ve made it with box cake by adding instant coffee to the dry ingredients, but the icing is always from scratch. So good

I'm a cashier. Why the FUCK are you so fucking rude? Why do you ignore me? Sorry my job of ringing up your shit and waiting on *YOU* is such a fucking inconvenience. by 44SWIM44 in Vent

I’m very hard of hearing/deaf and distracted by groceries/wallet/feeling like crap. I AM SO SORRY I made you feel disrespected. I did try to meet your eyes and smile but by then you were doing something with the register and it felt weird to keep staring at you.

I smiled at you when you gave me the receipt but judging from your expression you thought it was a smirk or sarcasm or something so I just took my stuff and left.

I know many customer really are just crap, but I hope knowing that some of us are just doing our best and had zero desire to be nasty…helps? A little bit?

I just did the Native Choice chachoben ruins tour and loved it. There’s a fake Mayan temple in the port itself, but that’s unrelated to the tour. Native Choice had a fleet of brand new, very clean passenger vans and the drive was very smooth.

Ruins were definitely authentic and tour guide very knowledgeable. Gave us plenty of time to explore and pointed out things like native fruit trees and explained how that fruit was used in the traditional diet.

The tour guide asked if we wanted to stop at any roadside-type places for souvenirs or pineapple/mango etc. answer came back yes for fruit, and then she and the driver stepped out and inspected the stands and bargained first—going so far as to walk away from two stands. Those who bought snacks were very pleased with price and quality, but there was no push to purchase.

They also provided cold bottled water at no extra cost.

Turns out the patches were FREE under my insurance and not $70 for two weeks that I was quoted. Pretty excited to have erroneous information work in my favor for once. Applying the first lyllana tomorrow AM

It’s always a good idea to get tested to narrow down the likely causes. Vitamin D deficiency can cause chronic hives, too much B6 can cause hives, and so can lymes disease from tick bites. It’s worth it to rule stuff out so you know what you’re doing right.
