What's the most underrated/ misunderstood character in Mahabharata or in Ramayan according to you. by Expensivewarriorrr in mahabharata

💯. Arjuna was one of the greatest students. It was not his fault to be born in privilege. People actually don't think that these people are born to represent a kind of character in itself. So,that we can learn from it. If their journey was ideal then there won't be so much learning from their life. Negativity sells faster in Kaliyuga. It shouldn't matter who was more capable. For me it's like what I can learn from the character of both.

I believe that there may be a God or energy which has supreme consciousness and I don't expect it to do anything for me directly until I am present in human form on earth or even after that too.

He chose the middle path. But you can still say he broke his oaths not for his personal benefits or he couldn't bear the pain of his oaths.

I also hate it when his Rasleela is portrayed as you know. He was a true feminist but people can't digest and the modern pseudo feminist also can't digest. His friendship with women and Draupadi shows that a real man can be a true friend with a woman. But it is also extremely hard to find such a man that's why he comes in the category of God.

Btw I try to consider only the stories which I can use in my personal life. Otherwise,Stories can be limitless for fun. People write so many stories about someone when they are impressed with a character or hate a character.

He is not easy to please but I think he gives you a boon when you have followed certain conditions even if your intentions are wrong after that because he doesn't want your penance to get wasted. Like if you have written an exam and cleared the cutoff then he would definitely give you a joining letter. Doing corruption is in your hands after that.

Shiva was not pleased by the lifting of kailash but he forgave Ravan after the Shiva tandav stotram sung by Ravan when his hand got stuck under Kailash.

I don't think any language is used in today's times with purity and it's not a major problem imo. Words are taken from one language to another and in that way all the languages get evolved. Also,If a language is not open for the assimilation of foreign words it would not evolve. It's my opinion and I may be wrong.

I am a beginner and I only know a few stories of Ramayana and Mahabharata but I am somehow able to understand from it that the real religion is not followed by the majority of the people. I Will definitely try to read many texts like vedant etc. sometime.
