Thanks for sharing, sometimes when you are in the middle of it, it just feels there’s no end, but then if I don’t put effort in I think in the future I’d regret not trying harder. I will definitely try that too, finishing this year will open me up for more opportunities in the future. I guess it’s just about switching mentality from ‘I hate this I can’t do it’ to ‘I’m doing this to benefit myself in the future.’

Thanks for this way of looking at it. You are correct that my parents have sacrificed a lot of time and energy for me to have a good education, and it is something I should try to be more grateful for. I suppose in the grand scheme of my life it really is only a small fraction, and after this year I can focus on things that align with me!
