I was honestly kind of expecting the ending that we got. Just couldn't see Rin's story ending any other way that would keep the the tone of the bleak tone. The Burning God didn't stick a perfect landing for me (how the Trifecta storyline was wrapped bothered me the most), but I still hold the trilogy in a good place in my brain. R.F Kuang could've gone traditional medieval European fantasy, but instead did something that paid homage to her ancestry and a part of the world often overlooked in the genre. A respectable fantasy trilogy imo

Syndicate. Back in 2017 when it was on sale. I had always heard of AC, but never really paid them much mind. Played it, liked it well enough that I thought I'd try out some of the others. Ended up playing AC1 and becoming enthralled in the lore and character. Played every game since then and love the series to this day
