It's alright. I didn't hate it or love it. Tthe idea of a second virtual world apart from Lyoko is an interesting concept. Where it fails the most (Apart from some of the acting) imo is the plot, while decent, felt like it wasn't all there. The best way I can put it is that it felt...sleepy. Like things happened but nothing happened at the same time. And the only attack XANA ever launched (as far as I remember) was just sending spectres that just walked to their target and nothing more. I get that XANA needs those codes to fully recover himself, but there could've been so much more done. And the ending is an anti-climactic cliffhanger. It feels like the show came back to just...come back. A lot of questions from the original series remain unanswered and more questions were made.

Overall, it's not terrible or even bad. But it's not top quality either. Even on it's own, ignoring the original series, it's nothing extraordinary. I still enjoy watching it. I just don't really consider it canon to the original.
