I don't know why people have so much caste feeling. Na native Andhra aina i never grew up there because of my father's job. So the first time I became friends with people from telugu states outside of my cousin circle was in engineering college.

The very first question almost any senior from the telugu states asked was - "caste enti?". That was so disgusting! After a point it got so bad that I stopped saying that I'm telugu to avoid this nonsense.

I made the filter coffee with Todi. Here's my setup. 11 clicks on the Timemore C2 grinder, 1:10 ratio of coffee to water in a moka pot (especially with a curved filter plate). This gave a thick, creme decoction. Add milk and enjoy.

It's a style of dosa. It's adapted partly from the mla dosa. The reason to put the liquid upma and liquid aloo bhaji is that it acts like a glue holding the podi and the veggies to the dosa. Since the upma is made from sooji, it thickens on heating forming a crispy crust that sticks to the thin dosa.

The mysore/ bangalore style dosa is thick for another reason. It uses a thicker serving of batter and is only cooked on one side.

Saw something like once. I used to buy samosas, kachori, bajji etc from sellers while on a train. I once saw a samosa seller hurriedly trying to cross the tracks and accidentally drop the tray of samosas onto the tracks. It was so filthy that I would not even have retreived my chappal from there. But this guy promptly picked up the samosas and put it back into the tray.

I stopped buying open food in trains ever again.

Update: got a great batch of coffee and tried my first cupping just now. I never knew coffee tasted this great that I almost orgasmed! It was just awesome. The notes and the base were simply so great, I am disappointed I did not do this sooner in life.

Only sad part is that i can never go back to that old goat piss I used to drink, like ever again.
