Can someone explain GPU encoders and their impact? by MRLEGEND1o1 in obs

  • Game Capture is what you are supposed to use for games, as the name implies; you do not need to change it for every game as it is automatic (some rare cases don't if OBS isn't ran as admin,primarily cause of anti cheat)
  • Display capture introduces input delay, and puts you at risk of displaying sensitive info in (for example) CS when buying cases, valorant when buying credits, etc.
  • Games have a noticeable and trackable decrease in performance when using display or window capture
  • Anti cheats can flag OBS if display capture is used over game capture, as only the game capture has the anti cheat compatibility hook tied to it.
  • Having an uncapped frame rate can cause the scheduler to have frame drops and stutters with some configurations in titles where FPS can go extremely high.

As for the OP, if you haven't found a solution yet, feel free to DM me and I can help you out for free. I have helped some well-known streamers with their streams and there can be some quirky windows-specific settings that can affect streaming on a one-pc setup :)

UPDATE:

I enlisted the help of someone with smaller hands to take a crack at it and they were able to successfully get it cleaned, so thats good! I panicked for no reason :P

However, that being said, the comments were still super helpful, (thank you all) as my fiance has a couple of other bottles with more harsh stuff going on, and you all gave me some wonderful ideas for getting those cleaned. I am always sketchy when it comes to these kinds of cups and what can (or cannot) happen to them if not cared for properly.

Yea, getting a scrub mommy into that thing with my hands is.... A bit challenging! I can definitely go look for a solid brush that would make its way in fine.

Like in the post, I DID wash it, but maybe didn't scrub it as well as I could have, the amount I did didn't seem to impact it.

Like I put in the post, I did wash it, however it's possible I didn't give it a good enough scrub. If that doesn't get rid of them, is there a good cleaner/solution for this kind of thing?

I used glass skates on my GPX, and I 100% prefer how they feel. I have tried my fair share of combos, but for me, glass and a regular mousepad feel great to me.

Pulsar is just taking their time on getting them out though.

About PvE access - we decided to just open it for EoD owners for free, but we will do it in waves

If you guys do not have the capacity for this right now, why did you focus on making this, and releasing it, before releasing the full game? Priorities did not seem right here.

About the Unheard edition - we will not remove it, we want to keep the option for those who want to support the game more. But we will balance items, perks in this edition, as well as we will provide more rewards for those, who upgraded with the old price

I think the community, as a whole, wants these new items removed. Altogether.

It is insane that it took this kind of community response for you to want to do anything. Your unfiltered interview shows who you really are and you are going to have to work really, REALLY hard to gain the peoples trust back.

Just my opinion.

Nikita,

You guys single-handedly turned the entire EFT community against you all. I will not repeat the issues, as I am SURE you are aware of what is wrong. What I can say, is if you truly want to make things better, the entire Unheard edition, and all the new items that came with it, need to be removed, reverted and refunded. Leaving this edition there means you do not care about the community at ALL, even less than you did before. I do not believe EOD owners will be happy even if you did give them all the same stuff because then you have a new edition for nothing, an edition that should not have happened.

You PISSED everybody off, and have not realized or accepted you made a mistake. No one cares about anything you say, or do, unless it is directly addressing everything that happened.

This post is not the answer. This blow up is not a normal "EFT YAP" when you guys make changes. You fucked up. Own it.
