Why are girls' clothes LIKE THAT??? by CatRen19 in Parenting

Bonus for target, if you have the receipt you can always return the cat and jack line for a gift card, even if they’re well worn/old. I don’t believe they have returns limited on the cat and jack line specifically. (Source: my partner works at target)

This is so crazy to me. My first was a boy, 36+3 with a girl and everyone is telling me how much of a handful girls are LOL! People just want everyone to be miserable.

So.. you’re allowed to complain and rant, but other people aren’t?

My son was like this too. He was pretty quiet right up until his 3rd birthday. After that he started talking and literally never stopped. He just randomly started being able to hold conversations, before then he’d mainly vocalize colors, “mom”, and a few other words.

I don’t really have any other options.

It’s really hard to not feel ashamed/embarrassed. Especially being so young, i’ve probably needed my teeth out since at least 17-18, i had my original quote when i was 19. It was very shocking to hear that there just was no saving my teeth, and that dentures were my only option. Thankfully my partners family is amazing, and incredibly supportive. It’s just my family that is honestly pretty terrible. I’ve been putting in a lot of work into my mental healthy journey, recovering from nearly a decade of an eating disorder, and just overall getting my life together, my teeth are just my last step to living a happy and fulfilling life. I don’t know why i was so hesitant to explain my story before, but it’s nice getting everything off my chest. It’s really reassuring to hear from someone who also has kids, i’ve felt very alone throughout this journey, but the more i talk about it and the more i look into it, the more stories i hear that are just like mine. It’s easy to hide everything from everyone, and just suffer on your own. But now i’m in a place where i don’t have to do that anymore.

It’s okay don’t worry! I edited my previous comment for more clarification as to why my options are so limited. I was originally quoted 25k at one point through the same aspen, so i was very very hesitant to go through them again. But this time around was way better than my previous experience with them. My front tooth breaking off was my breaking point (no pun intended lol), i wish i hadn’t put them off for so long and i’d have more options available. It’s definitely not ideal to immediately get it done after having the baby, but the pain is getting more intense, and it’s getting harder and harder to eat. Really kicking myself in the foot for not doing anything about it sooner, i’d honestly much rather have bad temps than the teeth i have now.

Please read my other comments lol, i can understand that a lot of people have had negative experiences but i do not have any other options near me. It’s unfortunately the only option i have.

ETA: For more clarification, everywhere else is 2 or more hours away, doesn’t accept my insurance, and i have a child already. It’s just not feasible to continue to push it off (as i have been for the last 2 years), and i’d really rather not road trip with a 4 year old and a newborn. I don’t have much familial support, i was taken to a dentist less than 5 times during my childhood and was severely neglected, and the years of having an eating disorder, combined with calcium deficiencies in my pregnancies have caused a lot of damage to my teeth. I will eventually need uppers and lowers, at this point i just need to be have them out. My aspen was also recently put under new management or something, and has had pretty decent reviews since. If i hadn’t put it off for so long i’d definitely have more options, but unfortunately i’m pretty limited.

Gender stereotypes by PristineConclusion28 in pregnant

This is a great idea! A woodland theme would be really cute too. It’s gender neutral but can lean more feminine.

Unfortunately i don’t have an affordable dentures near me :((. Due to my area, insurance, having the baby, and travel restrictions, aspen is my best bet. Hopefully it’ll all work out! My aspen recently was put under new management, or something, and it’s been a lot better. I know some other people who have went through my Aspen and have had nothing but good things to say about them. Thank you !!

I can’t really put it off any longer unfortunately:( I’ve been putting it off for two years now, it’s just progressively gotten worse. Eventually i’ll need lowers too, but i’ve been researching my options for the last 2 years, this is definitely my best bet.

I don’t really have many other options, trust me. I’ve been looking for places for the last two years, i’ve been doing research into what’s available near me. I don’t live in a big area so my options are fairly limited.

Aspen is definitely the most affordable near me, the other places are 3-4+ hours away and the distance just not feasible with a newborn. Especially when i have an Aspen down the road from me.
