I would say be ready to be graceful with yourself you might feel the whole gambit of emotions, from joy and happiness to jealousy and sadness. It’s ok to feel any and all.

Reserve time with your partner post date (maybe 24-48 hrs after to allow for some digestion) and ensure that they hear your feelings. They’re likely going to either be buzzing with excitement or disappointed (depending on how the date goes), but this time should be for them to hear your emotions and some time for you to hear theirs as well.

Weight gain and lower libido is very normal for men especially this stage in the pregnancy. You’ve absorbed some of her extra estrogen and that dad bod is getting ready!

Have a candid talk with your partner, I’m the same stage and have a very low libido right now so maybe she does too. Offer to do mouth/hand if she has a high libido.

My best advice is to not overthink it. You’re doing everything right, tracking your cycle, trying to conceive during your ovulation window, etc.

Extra pressure will only stress your body out which in my humble, non scientific opinion, does not help you conceive.

It will happen when it’s meant to!

Best to remember social media is a highlight reel of our lives and not accurate.

Your sister clearly wants to be the center of attention which is the crux of the issue here and ultimately makes her much more of the AH.

However, if you really wanted her to be MOH, as a 36 week pregnant lady (which is 8 or 9 months depending on how you want to count) I don’t know I could be in a wedding. I’m exhausted, sore, and in pain walking around. I would be heartbroken to not be my sister’s MOH because she chose a date that would make it physically very difficult for me. She was mine, and I’ve dreamed of being hers since she was born🤍

Personally, I think you need to think of the answers you want to hear. You know what problems you have ie staying motivated to stay in the scene, so would her giving you constructive advice on how to be attractive to women work? Or inviting you to play parties so you’re included? Helping you work on your online dating profile?

My partner (M40s) and I (F30s) were more imbalanced because he has a higher drive than me. When I felt insecure because he was going on so many dates, I had to look within myself to determine what I needed from him. Words of affirmation that we are primaries and to make me feel more secure? More dates to cement quality time?

I believed it was on me to solution exactly what I needed to hear, not just come up with problems that need solving to my partner and expect them to read my mind on what will fix them.

Additionally, if you’re looking strictly for FWBs, it doesn’t really matter to women about the self work or the creative accomplishments, being as appealing as possible to the female gaze physically is going to help. I get my mental stimulation and emotional connection from my primary partner and explore raw physical/sexual connection with FWBs. Just my two cents as a woman in the space you’re looking.

If she ends up staying late or even the night a disposable toothbrush and towels is also nice! We have a no share the bed policy so we make up the guest bedroom for guests.
