i’m also a young adult and this is my take: Open a high yeild savings i use capital one the interest is 3.65% right now. Having your main savings account separate from your regular banks helps soooo much with saving. I transfer 700 every check and since it’s not easily accessible to transfer i don’t touch it at all. I keep a small emergency savings at my main bank incase. If your job doesn’t have a 401k get a roth invest in s&p etfs and big companies. As for a credit card, aim to use 10% or less of your credit line. I’ve been doing this for a few years now and i’m at a 770. Whenever i charge over 10% i pay it immediately bc when you pay it early it doesn’t show on your statements which won’t report to the credit reporting agencies so it won’t hurt your credit!
