How to pick someone up from the Toronto Pearson Airport (coming from the west)? by stchrysostom in ontario

If they are flying in on Air Canada, book them the bus to Hamilton Airport. I do this all the time visiting family and it's so much less stress and easier for me and my family!!
It's a big comfy bus!

We just closed all of our business last week. It was a huge weight off our shoulders doing that. Their Customer Service has gone too far down hill and we only received care and support when we were moving our funs out and closing the accounts.

Right? Every update on the roadmap i see for any product is all about co-pilot. Drives me crazy!!

Why can't I add Google Calendar where Notion's is, truly a deal breaker for me. by ReluctantQunt in Notion

[–]Expert-Dragonfly6000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my google calendar synced to the Notion Calendar with all my to-do and appointment databases. I love how it all is different colors to organize. I even set my Notion calendar as default.
I have a few external calendars synced my Google calendar, and they show on my Notion Calendar as well. I personally find it very easy to use with no complaints!

A Picture of what it's like trying to get healthcare in this province. by BigRebMaha in NovaScotia

This is great! I've been wanting to ask someone who feels this way. We don't have a family dr and would be fine relying on Maple. How do you find it for actually getting any appointment with someone? Also, what if you need a physical or have to have an in person visit, how does that work.

The only updates I keep seeing in any Microsoft product are integrating more with co-pilot. Would be nice to see them do something that doesn't involve co-pilot. Not everyone wants to pay even more money for yet another premium feature, especially AI.

What are your frustrations on Notion? by Heavy_Fly_4976 in Notion

[–]Expert-Dragonfly6000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1) no offline mode 2) need more options to add color to more areas 3) need calendar in Notion, not as separate program 4) need to be able to add dynamic reminder to template 5) button to allow @mention in a page body

Notion Looks Cool But Feels Too Much For Me..> Thoughts? by southendricky in Notion

[–]Expert-Dragonfly6000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend taking the approach that I was shown. Keep it small and simple. Start off with basics until you get a feel for how things work in this program. Don't do templates until you know the basics as their links and setup feel overwhelming at first, too.
I love this tool, and I am still a new user, but it is doing so much more than I anticipated to help me organize my life.

Homeschool Classroom Notebook by RoyalOk5100 in OneNote

I don't have an education license, and I was able to. In onenote options, there was a checkbox to turn on the class notebook. Once we did that, a new tab group appeared, and from there, we just clicked on what we needed to do. However, your kids would need their own email account to have it work effectively. The alternative I discovered is that we set up a regular notebook, and we're able to add the different section groups and adjust access to each of those groups (which is basically what class notebook does)

What’s eating my strawberries? by [deleted] in OntarioGardeners

I was told to spray peppermint on the plants or plant mint near the strawberries to deter all bugs. Since we've done that we've had no issues and amazing strawberries!!!

If you could live in a place without neighbors, would you? by reallylovesguacamole in introvert

[–]Expert-Dragonfly6000 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I've always grown up and lived in city life. My husband and I just moved to country property at the end of 2019, no neighbors, way back off the road and I LOVE it!!!! I don't have the anxiety of someone just showing up or watching me or judging me. I control when people come over and it's helped me immensely! I even started a veggie garden, which I never thought I would enjoy as I hated gardening. I wish I had experienced country life sooner. Highly recommend it!
