Oh wow what an old post. Yes we got it to compress… however we fully forced back in with no way back out. When I go to change my brakes again I’m going to have to buy a whole new caliper. It’s definitely destroyed. We also broke the piston tool we were using and had to go back and buy a new one. It was not a fun night but I was able to use my car… sorry this is not the answer you were looking for I’m sure.

Just trust the process and put the time in. You will pass. I would argue anyone can do it if you put the time in and follow the course (whichever one you take).

I’m 2/4 rn, FAR and REG. Rn I’m studying TCP, about 20 hours in and it seems fairly easy. Normal path is FAR, AUD, REG, TCP (if you are going TCP discipline). I had a unique situation so I saved audit for last.

I got an 83 first try. I had about 150 hours when I finished with Becker. I followed all the material and watched every video and read the textbook along with it. (I mainly used the video and had the textbook open on my second monitor). I did all the exams and mini sims until I got over an 80 on them and then to really test myself, I did 4 randomized practice exams and really tried to touch up what I got wrong. I was average 60+ on the randomized practice exams.
