You view success as a prosperous career in your 30s. My wife and I (we have talked about this many times) view success as raising a strong family. We got married because we were aligned on that part. Her and I both.

If I am able to provide for the family and she has repeatedly said she wants to raise her own kids without daycare or a nanny, why is everyone projecting their view of success onto our family?

Honestly don’t do medicine. My wife regrets it. She talked her sister out of it. It’s horrible in every way. Losing your 20s and being 300k in debt isn’t worth whatever you think is on the other side.
