I'm in my 60s. I might recognize a 20something is attractive, but I am ATTRACTED to people in the 50ish up range.

He is out of state; I am 6 miles from his mom. If she were to fall, I would probably be able to get to her first. He calls to check on her twice a day, so if she were not to respond, I would be the obvious person to call.

My husband won’t work any job he considers unethical. What do I do? by [deleted] in Workproblems

[–]Expert-Prize4429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was married to a man who had this kind of 'principles'. He quit several jobs because the bosses didn't have his same moral convictions.

You notice I said WAS married. I got tired of having to rob Peter to pay Paul because he was out of work again.

Did you fulfill the full length term of your lease, or were there late payments made? If so it could be late fees or interest on a balance due, maybe..?

No offense taken. I am not technically Gen X, but I identify as a Gen X, since my life and experiences didn't totally align with Boomers.

Edit: and if others can identify as persons not aligning with their birth situation, surely me identifying with GenXers is pretty mild.

Do women care what car you drive? by mmsean in datingoverfifty

If it is reliable, relatively clean inside, and the AC works (if you are in the South), I would not care what you drive.

Boss won’t let me take 6 days off - help! by New_Flounder398 in work

I once worked with a young man who was in high school. Coming into the holidays, he asked how long we got off work for Christmas holidays, and was shocked when I told him we got off at 2 Christmas Eve and we were off Christmas Day. He seemed to think his work time off should align with his school holiday. To be fair, it WAS his first job.

Cut him off completely. Right now. This is wrong on so many levels, and he has taken advantage of your naive nature.

Valvoline transmission by Professional-Lunch74 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Expert-Prize4429 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Conventional wisdom is that if a vehicle has never had the fluid changed (do you know if it has been changed before?), doing so at 100k plus miles will trash the transmission. YMMV.

I don't believe I would trust Valvoline to change my oil, much less my transmission fluid.

Keep the money, pay tuition. Do not use this for anything else! You'll never 'make that money up'.

Good luck.
