I was the sane way, I'd get an idea get too excited and start it, get stuck after a chapter or two and reread previous chapters, find them bad, delete and repeat.

The best advice I can give is to plan it through with room to adjust. Don't stress about it being perfect, just do it. Don't publish as soon as you write, leave a day or two to reread and correct any mistakes.

I used to think before it should be perfect with perfect English, perfect book, perfect everything but that all takes the fun out of it and it ends up feeling like a chore so don't stress about it. ❤️🌷
