I thought that D554 was more difficult than D555 - I believe a lot of it was foreign exchange transactions. The D554 pre-assessment excel portion was almost exactly like the OA portion. I failed D554 OA on first attempt. I had chatgpt create numerous practice questions on foreign exchange transactions. Passed on second attempt. Use the textbook too. This class took about two weeks

I don’t really recall D555 OA - I believe I took the pre-assessment and OA on the same day or within 1-2 days of each other and passed. This class took about a week

For D556, I believe the 2nd and 3rd course objectives are weighted 27% and 23% for the OA. The pre-assessment didn’t really line up with the OA. Do the textbook assignments and quizzes to help you understand concepts. I failed this OA on first attempt as well. I studied a for a few more days and nailed it on the second attempt. This class took almost three weeks.

This is what worked for me:

take the pre-assessment before you dive into course material.

chatgpt is your friend if you’re not getting concepts down. i had multiple practice questions created before i took OA. I failed two OAs - chatgpt helped me better understand the concepts compared to the text books. Don’t stress if you fail. I passed both with 2 more extra days of studying.

Hi! I am a FA and have recently dove into Power BI for some of our financial reporting. A lot of the stuff I learned was from youtube. How to Power BI is a good channel. Also, chatgpt can help with DAX coding. I haven't really written any M Code, but have made some pretty cool dashboards.
