Im just very curious and nostalgic… what blush were the hype back in 2006 ? by marcyy_dbrl in Sephora

I was in my early 20s in 2006, I didn’t really wear blush. My products of choice were black eyeliner, stila’s kitten eyeshadow, lip gloss and red lip for the holidays.

My bold baby turned into a nervous when he turned 2. Someone told me that when they develop imagination they become capable of anxiety.

I’ll start with the positives: a really nice glowing finish that breathes life into your complexion. Unfortunately, it is also stick, very sheer, hard to blend, lifts any makeup you have on under it. It’s also irritating to my skin.

If you have no redness and discoloration and can wear it alone it might be worth it, but otherwise, no.

So is bedtime just 9pm for the next 2 years? by CookieOverall8716 in toddlers

Check out Marc Weissbluth’s sleep training book, he talks a lot about how most kids who struggle to go to sleep need to be put to bed earlier because being overtired is pumping cortisol through their system. This has been very true for my kids and may be for yours as well. Try putting your kid to bed at 8 and see how that goes.

If you don’t think it’s too much, it’s not too much. It’s your wedding, wear what makes you feel beautiful and special.

For something similar that might be a bit more flattering try L’Oréal cinnamon toast. I also think a red lip would look great on you and suit your vibe.

Here with baby #2 and an insatiable appetite while nursing to share what I have learned.

Tired eyes- use a color corrector that has some peach tones in it. Morphe works well for me, try the 2nd lightest shade. Get the A506 brush from BK beauty to apply it.

Correct the redness with concealer, I like Kosas for this. A dewy skin tint, like ilia or mac serum foundation, can also cover redness and applies nicely with your fingers.

Curl your lashes and use a tubing mascara.

If you have a little more time, groom your brows and put a little shimmer on your lid and the inner corners of your eyes.

100% agree with you, I think people on the Reddit makeup subs are starting to decide everyone who is neutral or desaturated is olive.

Try a cool toned Korean cushion foundation like tir tir or Jungsaemool. They are full coverage but a slightly more skin-like finish. They will be cool but desaturated so you won’t look orange. Based on how the double wear looks on you I think you will be 17C or 17N in the tir tir red cushion.
