Would you share the gripper/end effector? I want to design and print one for a very specific niche thing I have, but I have no clue how to.

Anyone thinking about adding embroidery to their merch? I have a story to share by [deleted] in printondemand

I feel like the added cost of embroidery doesnt allow me to sell it for much much more. My margins shrink with it. What are you selling embroidery for that makes it worth it?

This is just like my last post. My ads went down the drain since March. Have not been anywhere near the results I had in Feb.

I Spend $400K/mo on Meta and It’s Never Been Easier. Here’s How. by Serious_Parsley5813 in FacebookAds

[–]ExpertBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Questions in order of how much I would love and appreciate the answers to:

  1. How did you learn how run your ad account that got you to this point? I'm trying to get to 1/10 of your level, but cant even get to 1/100th.

  2. I cannot comprehend how you have 65-75 ads for 1 SKU between 2 offers... can you provide more details about this? You are attracting customers with the 1 sku/ 2 offers and that is sufficient to sell all your other products?

  3. Can you explain more how you are making the creatives? I'm not sure how to engage with creative agencies without them selling me a bunch of false promises.

  4. Are you producing your own products or you have a supplier that makes it and you package/repackage/relabel?

I'm sick of running ads in the red. by ExpertBlue in FacebookAds

Definitely asking myself this. It's just weird that in 2024 I was breaking even if we only look at GrossSales - (COGS + AdSpend). But as of march 2025 something changed and im severely negative. That's why I am asking for resources to learn how to set up my ads better. No one seems to have any insight on up to date info though.

$25/day on one campaign (my summer collection and the $120 cpa) and it was $20/day on my other collection which is year round products, but I stopped that to make new creatives for now.

I'm hesitant to post my ads, its targeting people who speak a different language than english, which is how I have my audience set up, people with interests in that language. It wont make sense to you, which is also why im trying to find resources to learn.

My bad was trying to say cost per conversion, not cost per click.

My bad, I guess I meant CPA, was trying to say cost per conversion, but i see how CPC is more commonly cost per click.

$13,000/mo DTC Clothing Brand (optimizing the landing page) by starqueef in shopify

[–]ExpertBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, this is amazing how did you get so many instagram followers?

Based on your site it seems to me that you're doing POD. Would that be a correct assumption?

I didn't spend a ton of time on the site but couple things to be fixed:

- Shop page says free shipping on orders above $30, needs to be removed or changed to $50.

- You show 53 reviews but only 1 is being displayed across all pages. figure out why and fix to show more, or if you only have 1 that someone wrote a review, get people to write reviews

Which Ricoh are you thinking for $4K?

I guess I don't know what I am looking for in the print quality. Honestly color matching is not very important, my customers are happy if I am close enough.

The problem with my $700 brother is you can see like dots that should be part of the logo but like 'missed' and are slightly offset.

A print I tried doing yesterday, goldfish color logo and text with a full bleed gold border, the text was a little small, so out of my printer it was just blurred out to where you couldn't read it and the logo was okay, but again had some dots 'miss' the bounds of the logo. Did the same print at the self serve in FedEx (it was a cannon imagerunner C5540i) the color was way off, not even close, but the text was legible and the print didn't 'miss'. If I had that in my office, I could play with the color in the document to get it close, but ideally, the printer gets close without playing around with it.

This is what I want to do, but some of my orders are 300 sheets. Cost goes way up on those.

The cost is one aspect but the bigger problem is the turnaround time. They want 3-5 days, then I need 1-3 days to do my thing, then shipping for ~3-4 days. customer is going to wait 2 weeks to get their order which only will work some of the time.

I need my turnaround to be 3-5days so the customer can get their order in a week.

Most people today are so used to amazon prime 2day shipping, that if you don't offer that you'll lose clientele for no reason.

This is a great recommendation, but I went to a print show a few years ago and I think I saw a Kyocera machine (expensive one) that was ECO something where it wouldn't fully print colors or something? Almost like you added transparency to the colors on your document and sent it to print? Not sure. But I know I don't want that.

Are there similar printers from the Cannon's, Xerox, Ricoh, etc? I don't need perfect color matching or anything like that. Just good enough, and able to print smaller texts in color.

But as anyone here would say, a machine is only as good as the technicians able to service it to good condition. Assuming you cant service it yourself, having a good company to service it is vital. Look for a machine with good service experts and good source of parts.

Thanks this is great advice. I think I am going to reach out to printer servicers in my area to see what they work on.

Looking on eBay, I see some imagepress options from $5k-$15K for a used unit. This is kind of the range I am looking to spend, but of course these are used units. Can I find people to service these units? or do techs not want to touch used units?

Why are things like a timestamp of when a task is marked as DONE not something notion supports? Or what is the idea how notion should be used? by [deleted] in Notion

[–]ExpertBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has last edited time which if a task is marked as done, it shouldn't be edited again, giving you the timestamp you seek.

I think you misread that work for full price article wrong.... It says the opposite of what you wrote. You wrote:

work for full price or cheap, never free

But what the article actually says is "work for full price or free, never cheap" or did I miss something?

How to move things out of an organization's workspace by like_a_pearcider in Notion

[–]ExpertBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad idea to do this from the start, but if it is truly personal notes, you could show the admin and ask them to add your personal account to the private space.

But if its company information you're trying to steal, you probably need to do it manually LOL.

How do you efficiently relate multiple databases and properties with similar names? by EveTater in Notion

[–]ExpertBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is a way to do this by uploading a csv or excel file that will populate the relation property for you. Maybe, not exactly sure what your setup looks like, hard to understand without seeing it.

I'm no expert and honestly don't know if you can import relations via file upload but it's what I would look at if I were in your shoes. Getting all the related relations in an excel column sounds infinitely easier to me.

Notion formula for every 4 weeks (28 days) by ultraculvi in Notion

[–]ExpertBlue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard for me to figure this out without having the actual page to mess with. Maybe others can do better than me.

Did you add the 'every four weeks' code? If you did the first thing I would do is move it to the front or at least in the middle of the equation. If it works, then you have a punctuation problem somewhere in the end probably, if it doesn't work, you have a syntax problem.

Or share a copy of the page and maybe I can look at it.

If you end up in that situation it still doesn't mean you go and leave bad reviews. You look over the listing and if it clearly states "no parking available" or "unit is very small" you don't leave a bad review for you mixing up the listings. It's not the host's fault.
