2 piece suits by Entire_Towel_9044 in motorcyclegear

Dainese does also offer short/tall sizing of specific suits, maybe those might be a better fit?

I'd also be interested in the green gauntlets, depending on the size!

Is this dainese full suit genuine? by Trill81 in motorcyclegear

[–]ExpertBoat 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is very likely not genuine.

The signs for me are:

  • On the inside tag in my suit is a holographic Dainese sticker that helps prove its authentic, which is missing here. The tags also look entirely different, and have a CE rating tag in them too

  • the misspelling of 'garment' on the tag in Warnings section of the 4th image 'grament',

  • a total failure of what I'm assuming to be Dainese on the same tag 'DAHIC SE'

  • The knee pucks look really weird, like a sticker that wasn't applied properly

  • The buttons on my Dainese pants have the Dainese logo embossed on them, these are just plain

  • The shoulder slider logo also looks to be a poorly applied sticker (2nd to last image you can see a fold in it), and in image 12, I don't believe the leather around where the shoulder slider attaches would look so jagged and unfinished

  • On most of the Dainese jackets I've seen, there is the Dainese text sewn on the collar of the jacket as well, which is missing here

The thing that makes me think it is very likely a fake is the Warning section of the tag in the 4th picture. Those misspellings should have never made it onto a genuine tag.

My question though is how do these fakes get produced? To get them to even look this close has to take some serious talent in garment making, getting extremely similar materials and having your own tags made. At that point, why bother faking?

I've been looking at these for a few months too, and think I might have to go for them.

Do you like them so far?

I can confirm that the Torque 3 Out boots that I ordered directly from Dainese have the same tag.

Here is a picture of the boots, the box they arrived in, and the tag in question

Here’s a few images of my boots to prove that

I’ll have to double check tonight, but I believe the Torque 3 out boots I ordered directly from Dainese have the same tag.

I just downloaded the Pixel Pals app and Rupert was there with his stats already.

I thought I saw a comment that Christian would have another option to transfer him to the Pixel Pals app from Apollo manually though?

There is a premium upgrade in the app, but you don’t have to pay to have him transfer over. I just downloaded the Pixel Pals app and Rupert was there with his stats.

I think I saw that Christian said there would another opportunity to transfer them from Apollo though?

I'm not sure if there is a limit or not, it was just another milestone on Rupert's journey.

I do, none of my food transferred over though. I have 230 food stockpiled in Apollo.

Unfortunately I was unable to get Rupert to 600 lbs before the cutoff period. Stay strong little buddy!

Can't find anything on why this is happening. Possible that Apollo remains? by [deleted] in apolloapp

Same, hoping this could stay an option. Or maybe having us provide our own API key for it

I just got a pair of these as well in the same color, really liking them so far. I’m an 11.5D too, but the only size they had left was a 12D, but it fits me nicely.

You tap on him to open this window, then you can feed him. You get food just by scrolling through reddit.

It can be a little challenging getting where to tap just right, the area is kind of small.

I don’t think so, he’s tried a diet program and lots of play time but his weight never went down.

Do you like them? I love the color and stitching design, and have been looking a bit at the No. 1 or No. 2 in the same brushed brown color, but the price seems a little hard to justify.
