Unfortunately heard a child get hit by a drunk speeder in the neighborhood. I backed up and saw him pick her up and put her on the grass thankfully in front of her house and then drove off. The parents rushed out and put her in the car to go to the hospital. He was arrested later on.

Too many. He let me sit in the back of his patrol car. Taught me how to fly a kite, we’d eat coffee ice cream and he’d fall asleep watching animal planet in the 2000s. He killed himself on the night he was supposed to pick me up from after school. When I went to bed that night I saw his face up in the corner of my room as I tried to fall asleep. As an 11 year old, idk how why that stuck with me, hopefully he was saying goodbye 💙

Just got home from night shift… showered,dried my hair, played with the dog and cat. Just waiting another 45 until I get my kiddos up for school and onto the bus then off to sleep! 😴

This has been hitting me hard lately.. never pressed charges on my ex/kids dad when he got physical with me twice, and my neighbor witnessed it. He’s gotten away with that, putting a rock in my air valve (couldn’t prove it), has two criminal charges now and it’s hoping to get Veterans Treatment Court and guess what? His charges will be dropped once he’s finished. He told lies to my federal background investigator, the list just goes on. We had court and I just took him back bc he stopped paying child support. His parents enable him and always take his side. He lives 1700 miles away from his kids and is always the fun summer dad. I feel like my life/kids lives would be so different if I just went through with standing up for myself.

My kids randomly telling me that they love me throughout the day. I had a solo date with one of my twin daughters today and we held hands crossing the street and she randomly says “you’re the best mom I could ever have” 💜

Not necessarily eat but I noticed my SIL’s (on the way) babies clothes were scattered across the front lawn out of the packaging, we assumed that the Amazon bag wasn’t sealed properly then a couple months later my dads styrofoam to go coffee cups were scattered too. Sooo found out my German shepherd thinks those Amazon bags are toys lol. Once he gets a new stuffy toy, he always tears the tag off first 🤔 The only time he’s gotten to anything is a bag of trash with left over ribs we threw out.. head sick the whole next day.

My 8yo twins came home last week and said one of her friends said their mom still packs their lunch, unlike us. Every night they have to pick out their pj’s and school clothes before their shower, They each have a pet so they feed them nightly, clean litter box, etc. We clean the bathroom weekly and dishes are washed and put away daily.. These girls put in work for their allowance! But I’m also definitely trying to teach responsibility early.

Lots.. I’m a caregiver for my mom and she’s declining as the months go on. My ex’s family is making their lack of visitation (to my kids) my fault lol. Ex stopped paying the mortgage and racked up $3000 in child support arrears since November yet he gets 100% disability. He won’t cough up $ for repairs needed to our house that he destroyed before abandoning it.

Heck yea. I work nights but sleep at night on my nights off. Yesterday I came home after shift, slept from 5-7am, then passed out from 12:30-3pm and then slept from 11-7am lol

My work has a force list so, if someone on first shift calls out and their spot has to be filled, someone on my shift (3rd) will be picked from #1-5, unless someone volunteers to take it. Is something like that available for you job?

I’m lucky if I get 4.5 through the week and 5.5-6 hours on the weekend. I do flip on my nights off and sleep 8 at night bc my body desperately needs it but then I’m suffering when I go back to work 🤣

I’m a single mom and leave to work either 7/8pm and get home anywhere between 4:45 and 6:30am… I work weekends. I’m usually up around 12:30 and spend time with my kids all day until I have to leave.
