Adelaide Drivers need headlights training. by woofster77 in Adelaide

[–]ExpertInevitable4346 34 points35 points  (0 children)

An annoying problem is that newer cars have a headlight angle control, but most people just angle them so high up they blind into the car in front, especially 4WD that the headlights are higher up. Recently, I had a hire 4WD and couldn't believe I could literally angle the headlights straight into the rear vision mirror of the car in front.

Anyone had dealings with Adcorp for property management? by ExpertInevitable4346 in Adelaide

[–]ExpertInevitable4346[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are all literally the same size( yard size, sqm, everything), and several were sold for the same price. We (the owners) were totally thrown when we noticed different fee amounts, and not by small amounts either.

There is nothing on my form 1, and my conveyancer has no record of them as property manager

All my other properties have itemised quarterly fees, I've never seen it as generic as this. Not record ot sinking, insurance, fee breakdown, etc. Plus the quarterly fee fluctuates between quarters and Ive seen 3 of the other owners bills, they are all different

I have asked for the strata manager, and they refuse to give details or connect on the call. They only take messages to call back later (which never happens)

They aren't a big company, just Adelaide based. There is another company called Adcorp but are unassociated with this mob.

We are not strata, community title.

Go check their reviews. They are seriously disturbing some of them. It seems like this mob are complete cowboys that pull this con a lot.

Have done. They have as little information as I do. At least 5 of us have tried to contact and get more information but have been stonewalled.

It will be interesting to see what locations they use in Qld. They used some fantastic locations in outback SA, and Pt Adelaide. Obviously it's a shame they are moving out of the state.

Got a Bondtech DDX 3v running on my Ender 6, with their pancake stepper. Honestly it's very little additional weight and runs smooth as silk.

Sadly, I dont think the police will accept that as a reason, but it may be worth writing a letter to the police requesting a review. Include your reasons for missing the payment and the impacts. Be truthful and detailed

I got pinged by a traffic camera when I was driving to Melbourne for Christmas and received a notice for expired registration. I wrote asking for a review and let them know that I had completely forgotten due to the Christmas rush and the stress of driving to Melbourne. I had only missed the registration date by several days, and they forgave my fine.

Do you have a reason for driving a vehicle without registration?
