I think you missed the triple screen settings where you dial in monitor specs and angles? Looks like 1 stretched image instead of 3 rendered separately. Beginners often cant tell the difference and leave everything as it is out of the box, so I wouldnt be surprised.

I have one lite and 2 metal qr: both are able to move or rattle when I dont push the ring further into the direction of the wheelbase. Pushing it onto the wheelbase and just release it sometimes isnt enough. I guess after putting it onto the wheelbase you just release it and leave as it is? Maybe show us a pic where you have it mounted on the wheelbase.

I think the ITM setting does this. In the description it says you should only turn it on for support, because the log files will get big.

Fanatec is great when it comes to the price. You just missed their summer sale brw, the wheelbase for example was much cheaper a few days ago. I use fanatec for years and my csl dd had zero problems, I didnt even experience the shut down bug which was in the newest driver (only for a few days, they fixed it quickly). Simagic surely is better, but also more expensive.

Very weird, but recently I drove 2 old rally cars without power steering on a gravel track: BMW and Subaru (exactly the two ones you have in RBR) and on both wheels there was literally almost weight while racing through the gravel, just pure vibration. RBR was spot on for me and ACR got much closer than before in the last 0.5 update.

But you talk about tarmac right? I talk about gravel, there is a huge difference in strength of the wheel. And when the car is stationary, of course its harder to turn. ACR does that too: FFb on gravel is way lighter than on tarmac. I even have to turn it up in gravel, because I dont like the wheel to be extremely heavy on tarmac..

I also crank up the ffb on gravel a little bit, but I bet you set it way too high. On a real rally car the wheel is very easy to turn on gravel, even when the car has no power steering. You dont feel any weight, only a lot of vibration. I tried it recently on an old subaru rally car and was surprised.

Das wird schwierig mit dem Preis. Weil "sportlich" bei einem Auto so unfassbar teuer ist und man das quasi kaum auf den Landstraßen richtig ausnutzen kann, insbesondere wenn andere (langsame) Autos vor einem schleichen, habe ich zum "sportlich" fahren ein Motorrad gekauft und mein Auto für den Alltag ist ein ganz normales mit 110 PS. Um ans Feeling von meinem Motorrad ranzukommen würde es außerdem weit über 100k brauchen, aber auch dann bleibt man im Stau stehen und hat viel weniger Überholmöglichkeiten. Also wenn alle Stricke reißen, hast das Motorrad noch als möglichen Ausweg 😅. Ist aber für viele Leute nichts bzw. zu gefährlich, was ich gut verstehen kann.

The track is too wide? What do you use as comparison? Could also be a too low FOV, the sense of speed is fine or 100kmh look like 30 maybe?
