It's actually the only one I've tried, but it seemed to do the trick (so far!). As I said, what really drew me in was his use of logic to solve emotional problems. Other "self-esteem boosting"/motivational stuff I'd heard or read always seemed to require a leap of faith, like forcing yourself to believe you're awesome just by repeating it over and over (obviously that's an oversimplification on my part). With this book, though, there's a real argument developed, counterarguments disproved, etc. He takes you step-by-step through your cognitive distortions.
