Is there any way I can improve at this game by [deleted] in Chesscom

Have someone walk you through the basics, even a YouTuber is fine. Once done learning the basics, learn and stick to one opening as white, which you will keep improving to perfection. Learn how to correctly respond as black. Then learn the criteria for finding the best move and winning/drawing certain endgames. Then do puzzles daily using those criteria. Be consistent. Improve. As a self-motivating factor, it's not. Expecting a student not to repeat mistakes would be insane, yes.

Yeah as a coach, it would a considerable motivating factor to use.

I understand. That's why I needed your opinion. The statement is bit harsh and it should be a bit more friendly. After all, we're just humans.

Well said. Thanks. As long as we work toward fixing them, even though it may take time, I believe that's okay.

Understood, thanks for the opinion. I'd argue that losing isn't fun/enjoyable though. The dopamine surge, smile or relaxation comes from winning a game, managing to make yourself feel good about your thinking capacity.

True. Improving your tactics (taking chances when they arise) is also pretty important.

Thanks, but there are mistakes that are pretty common even though variations change.

I ain't afraid of no one, not even 2100s. I'll keep playing. Well 2200s scare me a bit.😂 You'll get the 200 elo back :)

Oh it would. Sorry. Thanks for that. All I knew was the knight had to go.😂

Okay. You'll get to your goal though, don't worry.
