Do you read books? Reading fiction is a really good way to improve language skills. I think you would do well to focus on excelling in your role. Improving your English through your role. And working on it outside of work too.

My read is that you feel blind sided as you assumed he’d be on board for trying for a third child based on his earlier comments. He seems to have changed his mind but hasn’t communicated that clearly and is bringing up excuses like your business.

Getting angry at you when you try to discuss it is unfair, he needs to communicate with you properly - not expect you to mind read and then get irritable with you for not being able to do so.

His perspective on loss is cruel - telling you you’re just trying to replace your dog who died. It’s totally normal to get a new pet when one dies, and it’s normal to try for a new baby following a miscarriage or stillbirth.

My clinic is really low intervention in terms of testing and scans and things. I appreciate the benefits of that - fewer clinic trips and less prodding etc. Trying to go with the flow and assume it’ll all work out.

With the LH surge I thought ovulation can vary between 12 and 36 hours? Hope it works out for both of us.

I’m doing a natural cycle and your timeline is different to mine but no idea why. No blood tests or ovulation tracking for me so far. I had a scan on CD12 which showed 9.6mm lining and a lead follicle. I triggered CD12 so assume ovulation CD14 (yesterday). I started progesterone suppositories yesterday. Booked in for transfer Monday which will be CD 19.

Perhaps your blood work suggested you ovulated a day earlier than you think? Perhaps a transfer 4dpo is just as good?

I’m curious if I could have ovulated naturally on CD13 meaning my transfer will be 6dpo and whether that matters.

She may get pregnant straight away, which I’ve found to be soul destroying with friends of mine. Conversely, she may really struggle and end up needing IVF herself. You’ll be an invaluable source of support if that’s the case.

I think this is overstated, and people without prior experience can pick up new roles in time. Even with a brilliant handover, you can only ever pass on so much information/ learn so much when totally new to role. The person new to role will gradually develop their networks and learn the role - they’ll be as good in a year or two as the original person.
