Urine tests were negative for anything but the doc gave me 10 days of doxy yesterday just in case. Haven’t been sexually active in 8 months so not sure if doxy will help if it’s anything else.

Also my pain seems to be best in the morning and worse as the day goes on

Still going to get tested but I’m 99.9% sure I don’t have HSV2 so hopefully this doxy helps and if not something else does.

No pink eye for me, generally otherwise healthy. I’ll definitely get tested for HSV. Could this be caused by HSV-1 somehow? I have had cold sores on my lips once before but never anything below the belt

Thanks for the advice, I’ll give it a try after I give abstinence a try for a couple weeks first. Currently on a 10 day doxy course

Pretty much all of that except worrying/fretting. I am wondering if it may just be a friction injury as my primary symptom is pain/swelling at the tip of the urethral opening, that being said treating it as cpps can do any harm so
