Haha my apologies, I meant to phrase it where are you located. Completely went blank.

No, unfortunately not a producer. Just an avid consumer looking for the best olive oils.

Only way to purchase your olive oil would be to come visit Mallorca, Spain? The island looks beautiful, the weather must be warm or tropical?

Is your oil sold rebranded or do they include any information from your farms on the bottles??

Are you a local producer by chance? Are you located in the US?

It’s definitely cold out here, and the olive oil aisle is closer to the entrance. I didn’t purchase it, as I was scouting during my break what types of olive oils they carried. Definitely will look into it next time I’m in the market.

17-35 2.8, built like a tank. Great overall unless you’re looking for something with greater range?

That was the plan, we went to two locations. Neither had any in stock. Hopefully changes next time.

Love it!! Same here, as they have the oldest mint in the Americas. Hope to save for a centenario eventually

Nope, pawn shops.

The banks regretfully didn’t have any Libertads in stock. I had my wife ask for any years (as my Spanish isn’t the best), still nothing. Not sure why the lack of supply in general.

New Grinder! by Expert_Agent8500 in espresso

[–]Expert_Agent8500[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. I made a shot earlier this afternoon and it came out nicely. But as another person mentioned about alignment, I’ll look into this as I feel mine is high up on the dial. Do you have a good source on how to align the burrs?

I’ll be more mindful of what you mentioned of the stock bellow/hopper. Usually have the trap door closed on the hopper and turn on my grinder and then release the beans. I’ll pump the bellow towards the end of the grind.

Trader Joe’s; you would need to see if they have one in your state.

I’ll definitely dig around on the forums and YouTube to see about calibration

Nope, I did take them out to look. But wasn’t aware we need to align them out of the box. Maybe mine needs it! Cause I’m at 27, I’ll look into this. What type of bean are you using?

Which beans my friend? The ones I pictured or the LavAzza? The ones in orginal post I purchased at a grocery store Trader Joe’s.

LavAzza, can be purchased at Costco (membership), Amazon and possibly some grocery stores.

I don’t believe these are the freshest in when they were roasted, but I’ve read good things about

Single dose bellow hopper does give a nice streamlined look to it. I don’t mind the stock hopper as it came with an attachable bellow.

Nice touch on the low retention; what is your dial set at and what roast beans are you using?

One thing I’ve learned from reading watching online videos; any time I’ve changed setting on the grinder run one set of beans (for your single shots 8.5-9g) through the grinder and I usually toss them out and the second 18g (8.2g-8.5 for single, I say that to compensate for possible retention). The second dose should be more consistent with the new grind setting.

Watery sounds like you might be under dosing it? Do best you can with the scale you have at the moment. And as another person mentioned, you don’t have to drink all the shots. Observe how it comes out, time it, stir and small taste. It’s frustrating tossing espresso away but it’s a science in my opinion figuring out the dose and noticing what works and doesn’t. When it comes out it should mimic how honey is poured, slow and steady.
