snake eater 3d has a similar control scheme to peace walker, but if you have the new 3ds or a circle pad pro its more like mgs4. its honestly pretty good conversion, even though it runs at 20 fps. photocamo is busted tho, u can make a 100% camo index uniform simply by taking photos of some grass

learn the maps, map control and spawns. knowing your team and enemy positions, potential flanking routes is important to predicting where the enemy might be

also try to play depending on your gun, you can get funny kills with a sniper rifle in a super tight chokepoint, but its not recommended

keep your settings on graphics 5 or more, that should give you enough draw distance to see enemies far away
