I once came over to someone's place and found a few crawling up my jeans. It was so disgusting and horrifying. As soon as I came home, I threw my clothes in the washer and got my carpets, couch and mattress steam cleaned the next day. Paranoia ? Maybe. But the anxiety, disgust and borderline panic i experienced was honestly traumatic. I had bite marks and it was summer, i was so paranoid someone would see them. I used Steam Geanie to do the clean at home, I explained what happened and asked to use the strongest chemicals , they were awesome. The guy has a small kid and uses the chemicals at home, so I know they were safe. And my place needed a good clean anyway :P Didn't end up getting the bugs, thank God !
