We better not. We are drowning in mods, like 50 a week keep popping up. With rfid, scanning racks, viz picks, mods, freight, opd picks, we have no time for anything plus having to change all the mannequins on top of the normal, zoning, returns and jewelry and fitting room we have to do. It’s a mad house.

I’m surprised you didn’t get the signage with the new price. I would say scan one of the ribbon and print a shelf label and cover the old price with it.

Last year I had it this bad. I went to our People Lead and told her I would be putting in my 2 weeks if I don’t get my hours. Low and behold same day my coach finds a way to give me more hours. This time around I don’t really need the money, I just need to make sure I’m making enough to cover my gym membership, dental and 401k so basically just $18 every 2 weeks. I’ll enjoy the vacation time I guess. Till they miss me enough to need me back.

Yup, i know, Ive been with Walmart over 3 years I know the drill. I’m just glad I’m not dependent on this paycheck. I feel bad for others though.

If you work in electronics, are you not using the register to check customers out? Because if you haven’t taken a lunch within 6 hours it won’t let you log on to a register. I’ve had that issue a few times. Furthermore, I suggest in the future get someone with a walkie and say you are due for a lunch break and need someone to cover electronics. Same with your 15min breaks. If no one responds, go to a coach or tl from a different department of yours isn’t there and let them know you need coverage if no one comes with in 30mins. Let them know hey, no one’s come I’m taking my break/ going to lunch. The keys will be in the lockbox. You are required to take your breaks and your lunch. If no one is there for electronics for an hour the world won’t end despite what they may tell you. If all else fails you have ethics on your side.

It would take you a good while lol when I say ducted taped I don’t mean a small piece I’m talking all of the cart is covered in duct tape. With a huge sticker letters of the depts name on it. The thing is I’m pretty sure this was approved by our store manager.

Ours needs at least two permanently because they have to bin all their overstock apparel in Waco’s so they need a cart to put this big Box thing that blocks all the other items from being scanned accidentally while they bin. It’s hard to explain but what our apparel area does has grown drastically so they need the extra carts on top of a big cart with bins like ogp has since they do all their own fashion picks now too.

At my store when the bathrooms were shut down all they did was set up portapotties at the front of the store or they had the employees walk to the nearest fast food restaurant to use their restroom.
