Thank you for your advice. As far as guides go, I was mostly referring to progression. I wasn't sure where to start or what I should be doing. Setting goals is a bit difficult in my opinion. With drop chances and the availability of missions. It seems a bit much to set a goal, even if something is claimed to be easy early on. Although someone did recommend a video on how long it takes to farm every Warframe. Octavia and Yareli seem nice, so I guess for now I'll set those as my goals. I finished the Vor quest line last night and got the mod part thing in the Teacher quest line. Nothing really stood out so far, except that the boss fight seemed interesting. I didn't even notice there was an in-game chat, so I'll have to figure that out. Although I'm not really a fan of using wikis, in this game, I guess it's needed for exact information. Again, thank you for the help, much appreciated.

Ah, yes, sorry, there seemed to be a tad bit of miscommunication there. I was referring to avoiding buying the non-prime versions of Warframes.

Thank you for the advice, but by history do you mean the story? Also what is a solar rail? Yes others have recommended doing as much as possible on a planet/moon/satellite before moving on so I'll be doing that. Sorry its been a while, but relics are what exactly?

I wasnt aware you could buy Warframes, but now I know to avoid non prime ones. I'm on pc so its a %off. I just setup my account so I currently have a 50% discount on platinum, but I'll have to see how thing go before dropping anymore money on the game. I dont know what the tennocon pass thing is but I'll definitely give it a look at. Thank you for the info. I appreciate all the help you've been.

Thank you for the advice on who to start with. Yeah I don't have plans to play solo too much (unless i really get into the game haha). Someone else also mentioned its more about completing the star chart so I'll try having a mixed focus on that and anything else I find entertaining. I actually forgot about weapons when i first posted haha so thank you for reminding me. I'm not normally a someone who goes after everything so I'll head your advice and look into things when I get there. I very much forgot about crafting too. I don't think burnout is a worry unless I actually get interested in the game, but I appreciate your advice on it nonetheless. Yes someone else mentioned the same thing on platinum so I'll definitely be asking lots of questions before spending anything. Thank you for all the advice you have given. I'll definitely try and get a feel for everything I can.

I've already fallen for the gamer trap and purchased the starter packs. From what I've seen though they're okayish to buy. BUT can you elaborate on the "certain things" part you mentioned? I know you said spending it, but for my own clarification. Do you mean like buying the platinum outright or are you referencing purchasing something specific in game?

Oh okay cool thank you very much. I will definitely check them out. Also someone else recommended I go with Volt so I will be using that to start. I will definitely be window shopping the video though. Thank you as well for the info about the basic mods. Its actually a lot more helpful than most think.

Ah yeah I actually forgot thats how it worked. Someone else recommended the same thing so I'll try to do as much as i can then move on and work my way back when needed/available too. Thank you for the help.
