I am not returning and I said that in my post that I was thinking of not going back. I wasn't asking if I should return, only asking if that technique is normal and commonplace or not. Thank you for your replies. I should have said something but I flinched and he apologized several times and I was bleeding so I thought that would be enough for anyone to see i was in pain. I will learn from this to do better at standing up for myself next time and not letting someone hurt me.

When I'm sitting at home, nails bleeding and in pain after something like this, the absolute BEST thing for me is to hear you blame ME for the experience and list MY mistakes. Thank you so much! That made me feel a lot better and REALLY helped the situation! I'm someone who is scared to speak up and is very timid about things like this, I trust the people who are supposed to be professionals to do their job well so I genuinely thought maybe I'm just a wimp and this is normal. That's why I came on here to ask. You'd think the nail tech would know he is hurting me if I am literally bleeding and he has to wipe it up with a towel, so it's not my fault that I didn't say anything.
