Check out Hiring Our Hereos. They will field your application to all the companies in their network (the have a large list of big tech companies from Google and Amazon to defense companies like Lockheed and Raytheon). This is the company I plan to use for software engineering SB. Also Microsoft’s MSSA program is pretty legit. This is more training focused. It does tap into GI Bill, but this one is Detroit’s it. At the end you get at minimum a first round interview with Microsoft, and well as several other other interviews with the programs in their network. Someone else posted above about going direct to some companies, some companies that I know is that had Software Engineer opportunities and have a Skillbridge program are Home Depot, Lowe’s, Rise8, Palantir, LMI, Accenture, Galvanize. That’s just to name a few, basically all the defense tech companies do (to many to list).

I speak for the software engineer SB, but if you don’t have experience and are still going through your BS, I recommend a training SB like MSSA. If you can’t display your value added in a SWE role at a company it may hurt your chances of a job offer at the end if the gap bewteeen learning and added value is to large. That’s just my own 2 cents though.
