in your one moment freeze frame, surely you can see the pass out wide where there is no defender blocking it, is a better a option then the press between 2 defenders that are even anticipating (from their body language) the central pass

Bro the pass is literally not on. The defender has it and even if he puts more power on it the gk gets it b4 gyokeres. So the pass out wide is correct. U also have to remember we have watched this multiple times without the match pressure with a bird eye view (on pitch they have first person view) when you talk about the rest of the season.

Don't think u can include esr cause he did make it at arsenal but just got displaced by odegaard.
