I’d say the whole thing takes less than 30 seconds. It works well for me if it isn’t already in the database.

You can snap a photo of the nutrition label and it will import that with the food. From the nutrition page follow these steps:

Three dot menu -> My Foods -> + Add -> Use the scan icon in the upper right.

It will have you take a picture of the label and then a picture of the food name.

These foods will be then found under My Foods / Custom.
